It started with a question…

How do we bring together product designers who work within industries like Finance, Enterprise, Advertising, Government, Healthcare, etc? How do we create a community for these folks to discuss the complex problems they are solving within increasingly complex systems?

I worked with a VP of Design at Facebook to tease this out, and bring it to life. Elegant Tools [Now - Facebook Design: Business Tools] was comprised of editorial and in-person events where we could bring together influential leaders within these design spaces to discuss challenges, design principles, and ultimately build a community.

My Role

• Establish a brand and manage program

• Build online presence with Facebook Group and Medium account

• Plan and manage editorial calendar that complimented domestic and international events

• Work with internal partners and vendors on events
